Ashley Furniture Store Locations in Elk River, MN
As of now, there is no standalone Ashley Furniture store within Elk River city limits. The closest options are in neighboring cities. The most convenient is the Ashley Furniture HomeStore in Coon Rapids, located about 20 minutes south on Highway 10. Another option is the store in Maple Grove, about 25 minutes southwest. What to Look for When Buying Ashley Furniture
Ashley Furniture offers several product lines with varying quality and price points. For living rooms, consider the Signature Design by Ashley collection for durable sofas with high-resiliency foam. For bedrooms, look at the Benchcraft line for budget-friendly options. Always check the frame construction: solid hardwood and plywood frames are more durable than particleboard. Test the cushions—they should be firm and supportive. Also, pay attention to fabric type: performance fabrics resist stains and are ideal for families.
How to Get the Best Deal on Ashley Furniture
Ashley Furniture frequently runs sales, especially around holidays like Memorial Day, Labor Day, and Black Friday. Sign up for the Ashley Furniture email list to receive exclusive offers. You can also check the clearance section at the Coon Rapids or Maple Grove stores for floor models or discontinued items. Another tip: ask about scratch-and-dent discounts—some stores offer reduced prices on items with minor imperfections. If you're buying multiple pieces, negotiation is sometimes possible on bundled purchases.
Delivery and Assembly Tips
Ashley Furniture offers delivery to Elk River from nearby stores. Standard delivery typically costs $79-$99 and includes room-of-choice placement and basic assembly. However, some items may require additional fees for stairs or extra distance. Always confirm delivery fees and the return policy before purchasing. If you want to save money, you can opt for curbside delivery and assemble the furniture yourself. Most pieces come with clear instructions and basic tools.
Common Mistakes to Avoid When Buying Ashley Furniture
One common mistake is not measuring your space before buying. Always measure doorways, hallways, and the room to ensure the furniture will fit. Another mistake is ignoring fabric durability. For homes with pets or kids, choose performance fabrics or leather. Also, don't forget to check the warranty—Ashley Furniture offers a limited warranty covering manufacturing defects, but not normal wear and tear. Finally, avoid rushing into a purchase; compare prices online and read reviews for the specific item you want.
