Top Ashley Furniture Stores in Paramus, NJ
Paramus is a furniture shopping hub. The Ashley Furniture HomeStore located at 330 Route 4 East is the flagship store with the widest selection. It features living room, bedroom, dining, and home office sets. Another option is the Ashley Outlet at 691 Route 17 South, which offers discounted floor models and overstock items. For convenience, check store hours online before visiting, as they may vary on weekends.
How to Choose the Right Ashley Furniture Piece
Start by measuring your room. Note doorways and hallways to ensure the furniture fits. Ashley uses various materials: solid wood, engineered wood, and veneers. For durability, look for pieces with hardwood frames and dovetail joints in drawers. Test cushions – high-resilience foam with down blend offers comfort and longevity. Check the fabric: performance fabrics resist stains and are ideal for families. Always read the product label for care instructions.
Common Mistakes to Avoid When Buying Furniture
Mistake 1: Not checking the return policy. Ashley stores have different policies; some allow returns within 30 days, others charge restocking fees. Mistake 2: Ignoring delivery details. Ask about delivery fees, assembly costs, and whether old furniture removal is included. Mistake 3: Forgetting to verify warranty. Ashley offers a limited warranty; keep your receipt and note what is covered. Mistake 4: Buying without testing. Sit on sofas, open drawers, and feel the fabric. Online reviews help, but in-person testing is best.
Real Buying Tips for Paramus Shoppers
